カナダ2日目 The second day of Canada
今日は自分でダウンタウンに行ってきました。
ホストマザーがサンドイッチを作ってくれたのでそれをもっていきました。
バンクーバーはバス、電車を担う会社が単一であり、非常に整備された交通体系です。
同一の会社が運航しているのでICカードも共通（compassカードというみたいです）で、非常に安い。都心部からの距離でZoneに分けられ、それを超えると金額が上がるみたいな感じです。定期がとにかく安いので留学生には非常に助かる制度ですね。
メインのwaterfront駅までバスと電車を乗り継いで到着しました。今日はティッシュと傘と上着を買い足す必要があったのでMINISO（ダイソーのカナダ版？看板の見た目はユニクロに近いけど）やMUJI（無印のカナダ版）、LONDON drugに行ってきました。MUJIは日用品が比較的安く手に入ります。海外に来たからブランド物をみたいな考えはないので格安で手に入ってよかったです。LONDON drug は日本の薬局とホームセンターをあわせたような機能があり、なんでも売っていて便利です。
バンクーバーは海に面しており、非常に景色がいいところがあります。平日ですが、みなのんびりくつろいでいます。郊外の街並みはセットみたいで、なんか今から撮影でもあるんですか？と思ってしまうくらいです。渋滞のないバスのスピードをなめてまして、最寄駅から歩いてみたら、めちゃくちゃ疲れました。
I went to the Downtown by myself. The host mother made me a sandwich and I took it.
In vancouver, a single company is responsible for the transportation management that includes buses, the Sky Train, Sea Bus and West Coast Express. Therefore you can take all of the public transports with the same IC card, called compass. It costs very low to use the public transports. This system is broken up by zones. Depending on how may zones you travel through, the mount you'll pay varies. You can buy a commuter pass at a reasonable price, that is great for international students. I went to the downtown changing from a bus to atrain. I went to MINISO, MUJI, London drugs because I needed to buy a tissue, an umbrella and some clothes. Whether a brand-named staff or not is not important for me, so I was happy to buy them at an affortable price. LONDON drus is convenient because that sells a lot of things that is sold at drugstore and home improvement store in Japan. I had a great ocean view from water front station. The townscape was also beutiful, just like I was in the movies. I decided to walk from the nearest station to my house because I underestimated the distance. I got exhaust.
